ZPMO’s New Psychiatric Home in Aguleri: What You Need to Know

Seraphic Psychiatric Hospital & Old People’s Home Coming to Aguleri

Great news! Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (led by Evangelist Ebuka Obi) is opening a free psychiatric hospital & old people’s home in Aguleri, Anambra State. The grand opening is slated for 19th September 2025. This facility is set to become a haven of healing, care, and compassion for those needing mental health support and a home for the elderly.

The Vision and Purpose

  • Provide free psychiatric care to persons who may not be able to afford the cost of treatment.
  • Offer a safe, caring home for the elderly who may not have adequate support systems.
  • Break barriers related to mental health stigma, opening up conversation and care for mental illness in our community.
  • Integrate spiritual care with medical/therapeutic treatment, reflecting the values of faith, compassion, and restoration.

What to Expect

  • Modern facilities for psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
  • Trained health care professionals and counselors.
  • Safe and nurturing living environment for senior citizens.
  • Programs of outreach, awareness, and spiritual support are part of the care.

How You Can Be Involved

This project is a call for all of us to support in different ways:

  • Pray for its successful launch and for strength and wisdom for the leaders.
  • Share this news with family and friends so awareness can spread.
  • If possible, contribute resources — volunteer time, finance, materials — as the ministry may solicit help.

Why This Matters

Mental health often suffers in silence. Many people live with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other disorders without access to treatment. Having such a center in Aguleri will offer hope and relief. For the elderly, this home means dignity, community, and care.
